The Kansas City Chiefs will try to remain the only team without a loss this season, hosting the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs come into the week favored by nine points over the Browns with an over/under of 39.5, according to Oddsshark.com. This season Andy Reid and co. are 5-2 against the spread while Cleveland is 3-4.
Every one of the various talking heads at Yahoo! Sports, CBS Sports and ESPN are taking the Niners to win. Even against the spread, experts aren’t giving the Jags much of a chance. Just two of the eight pundits at CBS are betting on Jacksonville to cover.
The Jaguars are winless this season, and the 49ers are surging after some early-season bumps. One team is eying another run to the Super Bowl, and the other a winless season and the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Suffice it to say, Jacksonville will have scored the upset of the 2013 season if it can knock off San Francisco on Sunday.

The highest odds at the No. 1 overall pick are headed to the Brooklyn Nets, who have all but clinched the league’s worst record at 12-54, light years behind the next-worst teams. That pick, though, is headed to Boston, but there are a few competitions that could make for some interesting end-of-the-year tank sessions across the board.

Carlos Carmona’s red card, Anton Walkes’ own goal and Jeff Larentowicz’s conceded penalty over the last two weeks don’t exactly inspire confidence in Atlanta’s defensive unit. Goalkeeper Alec Kann hasn’t been terrible, but he doesn’t look like more than a Brad Guzan placeholder either.
There’s a lot for Atlanta to work on. There’s a lot to love about the team, too. There’s a big opportunity to show that it can be one of the league’s premier teams in every way — not just in entertainment value for neutrals — on Saturday.
